For more than 10 years Scott has built an enviable reputation in the Systems Built Industry as an out of box thinker. Scott has a history in sales, marketing and public relations now offering his clients a developed & hands on approach. Scott began his sales & marketing career in 1994 with a housing company based in NH. Since then, Scott has worked within the industry in many different facets. Scott's PR & Marketing has been broadcasted and featured on MSNBC, Accenture News, CNN and hundreds of news papers & home shelter publications across the United States.

Scott believes innovative thinking combined with the strength of research, knowledge and planning is essential to achieve the desired results in public relations

Scott Stroud

Scott Stroud has been involved in the business of marketing, designing, selling and building homes for over 30 years. He began framing houses shortly after school and went on to become an award-winning log home builder/dealer outside his hometown of Louisville, KY. For the past 13 years he has directed sales and marketing organizations within the housing industry, and has been active in the Building Systems Council of the NAHB.

A proficient sales trainer and marketing consultant, Scott brings his previous experience as a new home dealer, sales manager, contractor and designer to J. Rouleau & Associates and to BuilderRadio.com. Many of the issues that will be addressed in our programs are ones that Scott has faced first hand, making him well suited for his role as moderator and program director.

Amber Rouleau

After earning a BA in Sociology from St. Lawrence University, Amber began her career in Boston in promotional and incentive marketing. She provided program design and planning, marketing and fulfillment to corporate and individual clients including Mohegan Sun Casino Player's Club, CVS Pharmacies, Pepsi and Sony. She moved into advertising by way of Louisville, KY, at Paul Schultz Advertising. While there, Amber managed and directed all account activity for the Marriott Louisville Downtown and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, and also worked on American Dairy Queen Corporation and Do it Best Corp.

Moving to Connecticut with then-fiancé Scott in 2004, Amber joined Cronin & Company, the largest full-service advertising agency in the state. Amber directed all account activity for Middlesex Hospital, the CT Lottery, the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art and Konica Minolta Business Solutions, managing over $10 million in client activity.

Joining the JRA team in 2008, Amber brings with her a wealth of marketing knowledge in categories across the board. She and her now-husband Scott manage J.Rouleau & Associates' Public Relations division, which has secured nearly $6 million in publicity value for their clients in the past two years alone.

Jerry Rouleau is the owner of a public relations and marketing firm, J. Rouleau & Associates, based in Terryville, CT. Jerry has been involved in the housing industry for over 25 years and specializes in working with builders, housing companies and building product suppliers.

Over 8,000 housing sales professionals have gone through his sales & marketing seminars & workshops. In addition to training and consulting he also specializes in public relations. In the past 10 years, Jerry has created over 40 million dollars in free publicity for the system built housing industry and won over 15 awards for their clients plus received 20 sales & marketing awards for the most creative public relations campaign. He is also a past recipient of the S.A. Walters Chairman's Award.

Jerry has worked on several feature home projects with major consumer magazines Country Living, House Beautiful, Country Home, Home Magazine. His special projects have been featured on the Today Show, People Magazine, USA today and in hundreds of newspapers, radio, TV, industry trade publications and specialty consumer magazine.

Jerry is also the originator and creator of the Jan's House of Hope tour. Jan's House of Hope was a fund raising project, which involved building a 3100 sq ft home on a barge. The fully furnished home complete with 3 car garage, car in the driveway and fenced in landscaped yard toured seven cities on the east coast. The tour generated over 15 million dollars of publicity for cancer awareness in a two-month period. Jerry is the founder and President of the National Cancer Awareness Foundation.
